“I have not failed, but found a thousand ways to not make a light bulb!” Thomas Edison may have been the greatest failure (SUCCESS) of the modern era. Let’s take a look at a complex man who invented complex things in a complex era—who had roots in Michigan and is celebrated locally by Henry Ford’s Edison Institute.
About the Presenter: A graduate of the Macomb-to-Oakland University BA history program, Charlie specializes in Michigan history and humanity’s relationship to the natural world. He is employed by the Huron-Clinton Metroparks (www.metroparks.com) as a community outreach interpreter and is one of the most consistently popular MORE presenters.
